Bio

Kevin Serey has been playing guitar since the age of thirteen.  Always having loved rock and blues, Kevin joined his first band at eighteen.  He played alongside older musicians and cut his teeth playing bars and festivals around Ohio for twenty years.  When the band broke up in 2017, he switched over to acoustic music that blends Bluegrass instrumentation with blues, folk and Americana, an unconventional approach, making his music unique.

Partnering with producer Micah Carli (from Hawthorne Heights fame), Kevin's 2019 release "Tales From the Horseshoe Lounge", has garnered multiple awards.  Kevin's undeniable appetite for a story and catchy melody shines through as a perfect marriage for a great song, and there is already buzz (and awards) around his second album "Hard Truths and Tall Tales".

To satisfy scratching all his musical itches, Kevin plays guitar, mandolin, banjo and slide guitar in an acoustic string band (the YarnSpinners), as well as singing and playing electric guitar and slide in a rock and blues band (The Snake Oil Healers).
